Join us for Gippsland Lakes Conversations

Gippsland Lakes Conversations – a gathering of people and ideas, will be held on Tuesday, 3 April at Forestec between 9am and 3pm followed by a boat trip on the Gippsland Lakes.

This is your chance to learn more about projects at the Gippsland Lakes and the science behind how they are managed.

The day will start at 9am and feature a series of guest speakers including research scientist and lecturer Dr Perran Cook, climate change activist and documentary maker Liz Courtney as well as speakers from the Gunaikurnai Land and Waters Aboriginal Corporation, the Marine Mammal Foundation and Greening Australia.

Over lunch there will be an outdoor feature amongst the natural setting of Forestec of many of the projects happening around the Gippsland Lakes.
